This is the Sign-up for the Van Halen "The Collection" 6 DVD Set Tree.

This is a 6 DVD set of Interviews, Concert Footage, TV appearences, etc.
I will try to get someone (Wes?) to post the art-work.
(A big thanks to Wes for setting me up with this, in the first place)

(please note...this tree is for a 6 DVD set. The artwork I gave links for are for a 5 DVD set...our tree/set has a disc 6 which is US Fest and MTV Unleashed 1986)


Quality ranges from A+ to B+ (IMO) Most of it is Great!

These are the rules for participation on this tree:
1. 30 posts or more on the forums. (Half of those posts cannot be from tree sign-ups)
2. Have been a member for at least three months on the first date of tree signup. (you must have been a member on 2/1//05 or before to sign up)


All aforementioned requirements are waived if you have previously served as a branch (regardless of whether it was a CD or DVD tree).

Sing up will be open for a week and will end Wed. - May 10, 2005 @ 8:00am (et).

There is a sixth disc which is the US Festival AND the MTV special, Unleased (over three hours on a single DVD folks. As I stated in another thread ... some of this looks like it is taken from VCD, MPEG1 or high generation video. I was fairly impressed with parts but fairly disappointed with other parts. Beware. Be informed. Having said all that I still really enjoy these discs, some cool stuff I hadn't seen before, some low gen stuff I had seen before, but there was also some high gen stuff that I had seen before and I think low gen is available. This set, while enjoyable, is not the be all, end all, must have, do or die. Again your milage may vary. :thumb:

Lots of good points there, frankm....also there is some stuff that repeats for whatever reason...i.e: the exact same MTV Road Rules episode is on disc 4 and 5, and the Eddie appearance on Letterman '85 appears a couple of times....so there are mistakes and like frankm said, some high gen stuff. But, it has some cool never before seen stuff as well that's really nice to have. All eras of VH are represented here...
