I haven't traded with Dokkendude but I've seen him on many message boards and seems to have a good reputation - surprised to see him on a bad traders alert!

All these posts in support of Dokkendude just prove he really never suffered parcels losses before our trade….When everything works fine we’ re all great traders…But i’ d invite all his supporters to focus their attention on the way he’ s handling his actual unlucky trade with me…Does anyone certainly know what Michael is going to do about the dvds he still owes to me?
He never clearly gave assurances on this thread that he will resend them if his inquiry amounts to nothing…Nor we know if he got any results yet….on the contrary he didn’ t post here anymore nor emailed me…Total lack of communication by his side, as if he doesn’ t care anymore on a trade which is not completed yet because of his initial lack of observance for the stated rules…He got my dvds, but i’ m still to get his ones… In my first post i demostrated how his real behaviour was quite different from what he promised in his emails. He’ s now entered an inquiry to USPS in order to verify if they can demostrate i’ m cheating him (what a disgusting attitude, after he got my parcel even including a bonus dvd!!!…). Well this guy posted a receipt which features a customs label # LC338987476US: on the USPS website F.A.Q. pages is clearly stated that “Some items may have a label number, but delivery / tracking information is not available in the system, including customs forms, "airbills", which may begin with two letters (such as "LC" or "CP") followed by nine numbers followed by "US" but are not considered trackable.�
In other words, as easily predictable Michael is wasting time on an investigation which can’ t amount to anything…Pretty “fair�, as he’ s got my dvds in his hand while I must wait God knows how long yet…And no communication at all from him about his real future intentions on this trade. Think about it…the next time this situation might happen to everyone, even to those who are actually covering his faults by posting their past trades have been Ok.
Just wonder how should now feel the other guy, who afforded an expensive second registered shipment to honour his words and fix the mistake from his wife…An idiot? No, a by far more serious guy!!! Many people out there are helping out a faulty trader (in this case) from his own responsabilities…..

Ok, I would've posted sooner but I haven't been on this board that much lately. And when I am, I never come to this part of the board.

I am the other trader that Alex is talking about. Yes, I did send a 2nd package. Maybe I shouldn't have done it, but I did. But Dok. is right. this guy has a major attitude. Like he did to Mike, he also insulted my wife. Not only did he insult our wives, but he also insulted Americans, which totally pissed me off. This guy is very rude and will hold no punches when it comes to let you know how big of a piece of shit you are. I was really tired of screwing with this guy, so I sent the 2nd package. I didn't have a receipt from the first one, because my lovely wife, and I mean that with all my heart, forgot it. That's why I went ahead and sent the 2nd package. But I made sure that I scanned the receipt and sent it to him. I think Dok did the right thing by not sending the 2nd package since he had the receipt. He should stick to his guns on this one.

I have never traded with Dok yet but we have talked through the boards a lot, and I know he is well respected and I can't wait to set up a trade with him. He is a top notch guy.

Now we'll see how much shit this guy talks about me.

I confirm that, at the day being, no ordinary parcel from Michael and Doug arrived. I hopefully expect the second registered parcel from Doug to get here soon.
I also fairly consider the proposal from Michael – Dokkendude, who finally got back with a positive attitude. I know he particularly loves Gotthard, who have a pretty song called “have a little faith in me (as i do believe in you)� from their Human Zoo album. I think all traders had better being inspired by this tune…
Up to now a drill was necessary, as a wall was set up around Michael, and this thread has become a sort of “me against the world…�
I’ m tired of this shit more than everyone else here, as i neved had to do such a thing against a trader before and i get no pleasure at all from it. By far better having the chance to sit in front of my tv and enjoy the dvds i deserve. My point of view has been widely expressed, so there’ s no more words left to say.

Your sending on time came up in this thread, by you, when you said mail to Italy 4-6 weeks. I'm wondering why it would take that long when every US post office has a reasonably priced option to send in 4-7 days. So you still didn't answer my question as to why it takes 4-6 weeks for your packages to get there. My point in responding is that no, it really doesn't take that long, there's a reasonably priced option that'll get it there in a week.

What purpose does it serve to get a set of shows and then say you didn't and have the guy reburn and resend? I've never understood the logic. I understand not sending (robbing somebody), but I still don't see what the goal is to get a set of shows twice.

As an aside, I actually had 2 trades in the 3 years I've been trading go this route. One was stateside and one was Brazil. Both times I had no problem reburning and resending. Didn't seem such a big deal to me.

I'm not taking ANY sides, just an observation.

Never could figure out that one myself. Some people must get their jollies from it.

As far as international mailing goes. Customs gets crazy sometimes (we could devote a thread to that) I have received mailers opened with discs missing and I know my mailbabe doesn't listen to metal. I can't remember right but if the customs slip is not marked as a gift - don't you have to go to the PO and pay duty. Sometimes the "notice" from the PO never shows up. I have missed a few 1st notices and got like the second or third ones.

Patience, trust and honesty. Good life tools.

Well I've traded internationally for over a year and have never had any issues of stuff not getting there within 7 days, except for a period back in November-December when there was a postal strike in France so my mail to France, and the guy's mail to me from France, were delayed by a good two weeks. But other than that, nary a problem. I've never had a package damaged or opened to and from whatever country I've sent. I always mark as gift and declare the value to be under $10. And it is honestly under $10 because I'm sending DVD-R's or CD-R's which cost like 40¢ apiece. I do all of my mailing at the post office.

People might be interested in knowing that i got the second registered parcel from the other trader Doug (Sixx770) just today. It used about 10 days to regularly arrive. God knows where the first ordinary one got lost, at this point….Great stuff, really. Troubles apart, an highly recommended trader. I’ m sorry that Doug had to afford mailing twice, and even more that i had to talk about him, but he left me no other chance with his contradictory post on this thread…It’ s a pity there won’ t be any more trading chance beetween us….
Thanks to Lou and a few other guys out there for being more open-minded than average. If i really had got the stuff from Michael, having a second copy done would be a simple 5$ cost for me, and starting this thread wouldn’ t have really been worth the trouble for such a poor save. No new scum coming from Europe, i’ m afraid, but just a real problem of mine with ordinary postal services (or maybe some asshole neighbour) here.
Don’ t think this thread has turned out being a failure, as someone said, since i trustfully expect Michael to re-send as he finally promised lately…
I’ ve also learnt that a registered shipment is particularly expensive for US traders, so i guess i’ d better get no more deals overseas to prevent any further mismatch as the current ones…
