thanks for the information about the tracks on the discs. Much appreciated.
Disc one looks great... only wish that the 4-5 songs from US-televison (early eighties) was included. But I guess one should be be grateful for the other gems on it :)

There still alot of people who haven't realized that Whitesnake was a band long before 1987.

The true Whitesnake (77-85) were a great loud bluesy rock n roll band. I liked them best around 78 - 80. I also loved the 1987 album as I'm a huge John Sykes fan, but it wasnt really Whitesnake to me. As for Slip of the Tongue, the less said the better ;)

Chris.

And you'll find the truth to that statement in tunes like 'Bloody Mary'!

I'm a tweener. My favorites are Love Ain't No Stranger and Slow and Easy.

What I like best about Whitesnake is the revolving door of musicians Coverdale has had play with him over the years. He has always had some of the best players each and every time he has recorded and gone on tour. His present line-up is one of his best in my opinion. Whether he will record a new album with them only time will tell.

I think each Era of the Band has had great parts to it....i cant pick just one album or Tour but im a big fan and it's great to see them out touring again.
