Very, very tough ...
DVD ... BTB's 20th Anniversary Edition of the US Festival, this may not be mint quality but it is the best I've seen and the performance is just great, I love this boot. Although, I must say a close second is Applejack's Tokyo 1989, now that is mint. I also really like CTC's Cincinnati 2004 but above all is the US Festival.
CD ... FM Production's Beavis And Butthead Meet Ren And Stimpy, Alpine Valley, July 1993 (I may be bias but) I love that concert, that tour, it was and is awesome. I also like Someday in the Valley, Alpine Valley July 1995 (and again I may be bias ... don't know why) but that too was an awesome show and pure joy. I guess I also really like the November 10 and 11 recordings from 2004. One was a Steecoe offering and the other was a DR release. I am partial to the Pasedena Hilton 76 recording. I don't know. Too many.
You were talking just Van Halen, right? |
