KISS 1979...the Dynasty Tour. The band was falling apart by then, but they still put on a great show.

The 1980 Invasion Tour---VH July 1980 from the 12th row at the late great International Amphitheatre in Chicago. I stood for the entire show precariously balanced on the backs of the chairs around me. My buddy snuck in a little camera and I still have the pics.

September 6, 2001 - Clarkston, MI

Sammy Hagar and The Wabos at DTE Music Theatre.

I don't really remember anything about that concert, I didn't even know who Sammy Hagar was. All I remember was "Runaround." It just so happens that the set he played that includes all of my favorite Sammy tunes, I wish I could find a recording somewhere.

Mine was 1978 - Journey at the Convention Center in Pine Bluff, AR. The opening act was this new band named "Van Halen." I remember that Van Halen had a pretty good guitarist that was in his early 20s. He had one hell of a guitar solo.

I was only 11 years old and will never forget it. I was hooked on VH from that point on...

Doobie Brothers at the Heart of Texas Coloseum in Waco, Texas circa 1978 or so. I was about 10 or 11 and conned my brother-in-law into taking me. I remember walking in to the arena and being mesmerized by the pa, the lights, the activity on stage, etc...and "Dream Weaver" was playing over the pa. I knew right then and there I wanted to get into sound/lighting work. I was hooked. Great show as well by the Doobs...very, very loud as I recall!!!
