I've been grabbing shows from Dime... So fat, the CT 03.06.10 show is pretty damn great in terms of sound quality.. NYC & Montreal aren't bad either... I'm on the look-out for a DVD...

Right now Dime does seem the best place. As far as best sounding, I agree the 03/06 CT show seems to be the best. There is one out of NY I believe on 03/08 that sounds really good too but I can't get past the "Whoo Hoo" guy at the beginning end and middle of each song.

As far as DVD's goes I have both NYCBC shows on their way to me, and yes I would be willing to set up a few trades.

Someone over at the links posted this.....

While we continue to wait and suffer for a new album from VH w/Dave (or anything for that matter), I came across something pretty phenomenal on this site that no one seemed to pointed out yet. In the Bootleg Forum last week someone posted a new, updated '79 Fresno show video...that includeds "LUTS!" Where the fuck did this come from?! It also includes "RWTD" from the show, then continues on with the bass solo, "On Fire," etc. where the original copy started. "LUTS" is definitely one of my favorite non-hits ever and I'm happy to see them actually play the thing!

Actually, I was able to get this from mpvh1a (thanks again!), so I am all set, but I am still in ISO the October 1985 WACF article.

Do you still need this? I do have it - despite some recelty banned people not accepting I have a real life outside of this hobby, one of my photos is in this issue, so I have more than one copy. (yes - along with my film/video work I also am a photographer)

If you have not checked the Sony forums you should - lots of good help over there and, for the most, firendly. Also the Cow forums are a wealth of information. And, of course, the manual. DVDA may seem confusing if you go into it blindly but it is fairly simply for the basics. Once you get into it more and start to understand it, you can do a lot more with it. But for now you are saying you want to add your files - I am only guessing here but they are already encoded to compliant Mpg? If they are all you need to do is drag and drop and there should be no need for re-encoding. So, for example, when you open a new project a default menu will be there - the "tree" will say something like "untiltled" > a folder named "menu 1" > a menu called "menu 1 (Page 1)". You just drag your media onto that menu and there it is - on the preview screen you should now see your media on the menu. If you hit "preview" you will see your menu and when you click on the media it will play.

I just wana make some menus for some of my dvds I have the software,sony vegas studio 9 and with Dvd architect 4.5 I aslo have ulead which I have had for awhile and is much easier to figure out and navigate.

My question is on Ulead it is straightforward and easy to import a dvd so I can add a chapter or menus but not so sure how too do it on the sony product,I keep having a problem not sure how to do it,I know how to edit the menu on the sony but getting my dvd files into there is the problem.But on I think with the sony I could make a much better product if I could figure it out.
