Despite losing $12 million during its inaugural year, The US Festival returned in 1983 for three more days of music featuring a legendary lineup. Each day of the festival catered to its own genre from dancing along to The English Beat, Men At Work, INXS, to rocking out with Joe Walsh, Stevie Nicks, and Bowie, to concluding the festival with horns up and Ozzy Osbourne, Van Halen, and Quiet Riot. Tune in this Sunday as we begin our look into the festival with New Wave Day. Blending rare concert footage with insightful interviews with both organizers and performers, this episode features performances from Judas Priest, Triumph, Scorpions, and more.
