Another 1984 show from a batch i got about 12 years ago, i think. Nothing spectacular here except it’s Van Halen during their most awesome period…1984! The sound is a little distant and the info file says something about a radio promo but that’s not included here. I just copied and pasted the info file i had with the show and created an md5 as there was none present. I included a few samples so you can judge for yourself. It it was it is. I have a few more 1984 shows i’ll share as I get time. I verified that it’s lossless but i didn’t include the pic of it. Anyhow, enough rambling, so, without further ado, i present….

I disagree about being nothing spectacular….

On Fire opening tune….makes it special could be one of the very few early shows of the tour. As all certainly know Unchained main opening tune

So that makes it special.

I like those info ” rundowns” of the shows. For me it really helps out a lot when they point out certain differences from other shows.

I can see why he’s so anxious to scoop the June 20 1984 show after clicking the YT clip that EVH solo sounds spectacular.

( Even though I’m sure I played it before when the Yessup YT channel uploaded it….nice to have a reminder.

Also Michael Anthony’s birthday that show in Kansas City June 20 1984. Maybe something else special Happy Birthday shoutout or something.
