Hey guys – not sure where to put this topic, but i need to convert some 24 bit flac files to 16 bit flac in order to play them in iTunes. Can anyone recommend a good and free conversion program for a mac?

You don’t need to convert 24-bit to 16-bit FLAC, you just need to convert 24-bit FLACs to AIFFs; then use iTunes to convert further, or play as-is. iTunes will automatically downconvert for you if you convert a 24-bit AIFF file to mp3 or AAC. Use xACT to convert FLAC to AIFF:
