James Young, who owns the Cherry Bar, the pub in AC/DC Lane in Melbourne, and who is also a bit of an insider in the AC/DC family, has given us a scoop this morning.

He says Acca Dacca’s record company, Alberts, have “confirmed” that AC/DC will be touring behind a brand new album next year to mark their 40th anniversary.

“Alberts, the record company that AC/DC have been signed to for 39 years, have confirmed that AC/DC will be touring behind a brand new album next year,” James told Triple M this morning. Hear the full interview below.

Now if only they would BIG change to their set list and play songs like :”night of the long knives” and “put the finger on you” or anything from “fly on the wall” or “flick of the switch” and how about “Mistress for Christmas” for shows in december
