In my modest opinion, in the whole record , Eddie has a monster sound, heavy and sparkling at the same time…

…kinda tough to describe with words…but I’m sure you understand what I mean…

from some of the pics from the first two shows his guitars are equipped with the D-tuna,so I’m guessing he’s dropping It down.I hope the next Guitar World will have a In depth Interview with EVH and a new VH song transcribed.Then we all will know.

As Is is played in A but sounds like it’s in B Flat on the record with a low B Flat for the low E string. Supposedly he has a new Drop To Hell device that we saw on the Two And A Half Men clip that could be used to lower the low E. But I don’t know if he uses the device like a trans trem to raise the pitch all the strings before lowering the low E. Basically, I don’t know how the damn thing works. Ha ha…
