Just as I was going on a road trip. Not good news for me. Just like Van Halen in Japan all over again.

“Joey Kramer — the drummer for Aerosmith — had heart complications Tuesday and the band has cancelled some upcoming shows … TMZ has learned.

A source close to the band tells us … Kramer has had heart issues in the past.

A member of the crew told us … the 64-year-old will undergo heart surgery, but we could not confirm that.

The group has now cancelled the Concord, CA concert scheduled for Wednesday night.

We’re also told members of the crew have been told the Washington show — scheduled for Saturday — will also be cancelled.

maybe they should have Tyler play the drums and sing..originally he was a drummer..

Most bands usually have a backup. I remember when Tommy Lee had a problem Motley Crue got a replacement drummer (Sevendust maybe?) and didn’t have to cancel any shows.

I know Tyler was the original drummer. Caught him playing bottles in Helsinki in the street a few weeks back and he was damn good. You can see it on YouTube. Maybe it was possible a few years ago but not now. It is one or the other. I hope they get a replacement but I have a bad feeling

I wasnt serious..but doesnt kramer have a son? I saw cheap trick back in 2001 and they had one of nielsen’s kids sitting in,wasnt Bun E but it was OK..

When Moon collapsed on stage The Who asked if anyone in the crowd knew the songs. Fan went on stage and did the gig! Survivors new drummer is guitarist Frank Sullivans son and Roger Taylor of Queen had his son playing percussion on stage and drums on a few of the tunes on this tour.
