Cool, it’s about time. However, there are some great videos in circulation from that show. It will be nice to have a pro-shot version.

I followed the links, and unless I’m just missing something – it looks like it’s rather old information (from a couple of years ago).

Untill we hear it from Jimmy I have given up! 02 is Plants last stand as a rocker it would be ONLY right to feed the fans!!

Releasing a Blu-Ray/DVD would be all about the money, and they didn’t do that show for the money, so why bother? (unless they were to donate the proceeds from disc sales too)

There was a comment by one of them that the bootleggers did a fine job and no need for them to release a dvd , I believe Ed has said some similar comment back about the 07,08 tour why we would most likely never see a live dvd from that tour .

I just hear Ed. Have you seen the ’07 San Diego show from Silver Stallion. Fucking awesome, we can’t top that!

Rock report (by Gary Graff) suggests the possibility of a CD/DVD release (of the Zep show) this fall.

Is Led Zeppelin’s 2007 reunion show at London’s O2 Arena finally coming to DVD? That’s the hot rumor for this fall, as numerous sources — including numerous Zep-watching web sites and VH1 Classic’s “That Metal Show” — are alluding to a major release from the defunct band in time for the holiday season. Speculation is that there will be a double CD as well as a DVD, with a possible behind-the-scenes documentary included in the latter. The December 10, 2007 show was part of a benefit for the Ahmet Ertegun Education Fund, named after the Atlantic Records co-founder who signed Zep to its first contract. Jason Bonham filled in for his late father, John, on drums.

LED ZEPPELIN Releases Live Audience YouTube Clip – Sep. 10, 2012
Industry sources are saying that a LED ZEPPELIN double-CD / double-DVD of their 2007 reunion show in London will be released in November. On Friday (September 7), the band posted “hello” on its Facebook page, followed on Saturday by “Five” in the band’s classic font, followed on Sunday by “Four” and “Three” on Monday — leading some fans to believe that an official announcement is coming on Wednesday (September 12). In addition, a brief video has debuted on LED ZEPPELIN’s YouTube channel that simply shows the four symbols featured on the group’s fourth studio album, accompanied by the sound of an audience cheering.

With the entire rock world going insane with “ZEPPELIN” fever in the weeks and months following the reunion show, Robert Plant — who was the lone hold-out on any future ZEPPELIN gigs — was asked how he stayed calm with all the excitement centered around the band. “Well, I don’t think anybody actually asked that question, to be perfectly frank — apart from the media. So, here I am, just doing what I do,” he said.

Jason Bonham, the son of late ZEPPELIN drummer John Bonham, who was behind the kit for the performance at London’s O2 Arena, told The Pulse Of Radio he’s eager to own some sort of document of the event. “I know it probably was recorded. I mean, there was cameras there and everything, but I’m not too sure of what the process is there,” he said. “Me, personally, I’d love to get a, y’know, a version of it that I could — you know, stay with me forever. It’ll be there forever in my mind, but to get a chance to watch it back is sometimes only when you realize what you’ve done.”

Back in 2008, Jimmy Page spoke about the O2 gig to Uncut, saying, “It was recorded, but we didn’t go in with the express purpose of making a DVD to come out at Christmas, or whatever. We haven’t seen the images or investigated the multi-tracks. It’s feasible that it might come out at some distant point, but it’ll be a massive job to embark on.”

Just read that the announcement coming tomorrow will say the show will be released on a double cd,double disc dvd and blu-ray on October 22nd. The London Sun is reporting that The Cineplex Theaters will premiere the show in its theaters on October 17th. I would love to go to a movie theater and sit through that show.
