Itinerary sheet is what that is but from the wrong era I couldn’t give a shit about anything from after 84 but I like those ones from Noel Monks office with the office stamp on them. The Smoking Gun 1982 tour rider and other cool stuff pops up on EBay from time to time.

I like surfing the specialty Facebook pages of the old venues like the Whiskey and Starwood. Run across the promoters posting flyers and whatnot. Many interesting comments from people who were there pop up.

You must have been right behind me & my wife. I paid $500 for 2 front row tix right in front of Ed’s mic stand, well worth the money. Great show. Actually, of the 50+ VH shows I have seen, every tour since 82, this is still my favorite show. Good times.

Yup! In 86 I starting going to more than one show per tour. I lived in So Cal, so I would hit the Los Angeles area shows, Orange County shows, & San Diego shows. Then I decided what the hell & starting going out of state to Nevada & Arizona. I would go to all shows in those areas also, not just one night if they played multiple nights. I have spent way too much $ on tix over the years. After being front row for the last 93 show, I would almost always pay for first 10 row tix. Nothing quite like seeing EVH from up close like that. Every show was awesome, except for 2. Last show of the 04 show in Tucson, & Dec 30 of 07 in Vegas. It was a good run, miss those days.

I liked the good ol’ days of general admission. You payed the same for your ticket as everyone else in the entire arena – and if you got there early (or were crafty), you could watch the show from the front row. I saw many shows from the front row back in those days – to include the ’79 and ’80 shows Van Halen played at Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo, MI. Both times – directly in front of Ed.
