Good evening.

Delighted to sit amongst you all and very much looking forward to making your acquaintance.

Living in the north of the England, I have been an avid VH fan from day one, having heard, I think I am right in saying, some early songs on American Forces Overseas Radio via the BBC World Service whilst sat up in the early hours studying. I would guess that had to have been late ’77, as I definitely bought the debut album on the first day of release in the Feb of ’78, unless it was released earlier in the States of course. That radio broadcast was immediately impacting and I still find myself hooked after all these years.

I have never before joined such an on-line format, so please forgive my early fumbling and I will be grateful for any advice on how to get the best out of your lovely forums. Views, stuff and anecdotes to share if of interest.
