A 31-year-old male was arrested Friday in the 3800 block of Lamar Avenue in relation to a Aug. 30, 2013 felony theft.
David Lee Roth of Paris was arrested a few minutes before 5 p.m., after he was identified as the person who had allegedly stolen a tool set from Sears over a month ago.
During the arrest, Roth was also charged with criminal trespassing when it was found that he had been criminally trespassed from Walmart on July 31, 2013.
Roth was later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.

Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 6:10pm: Paris Police arrested 40 year old David Lee Roth of Paris in the 1500 block of Graham Street on a felony after indictment capias warrant for Theft of Property Less Than $2500.00 With 2/More Previous Convictions that resulted from a Paris Police investigation into a May 7, 2022 shoplifting wherein Roth had stolen several pairs of blue jeans and a t-shirt from a store in the 3500 block of Lamar Avenue.

On Mar. 11, 2025, David Lee Roth (42) was stopped for a vehicle equipment violation in the 400 block of NW 3rd St. A consensual search of his person revealed him to be in possession of illegal narcotics. Roth admitted the drugs were his and was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance. It was also found that Roth had numerous outstanding municipal warrants. He was charged with these as well.
