Best DLR comp there is, period. Would love to see an updated version of this, with better sources that have come out since it was made, with lossless audio and higher video bitrate on a dual layer DVD or spread across 2 DVDs.

Cato, I apologize for uploading Napalm. I have seen it available for download on several blogs over the years, so I assumed it would be OK to share the DVD digitally.

http://dvdconcertth.blogspot.com/2011/05/david-lee-roth-napalm-up-your-ass.html

I have also seen Napalm for sale on countless black market sites over the years, which totally sucks.
Making Napalm easy for casual fans to download should drastically reduce sales of the DVD.

I too would like to see a 2016 version of Napalm, including the VH ADKOT videos.
I believe a Blu-Ray version featuring ultra high bitrates and PCM audio would be the way to go.

I will kill the MEGA link.

Thank you again, Cato!

if I made an updated/upgraded version of Napalm on Blu-ray just for you, what would you give me in return?

What would you like Cato? I’d be willing to tape several bands in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for you, if you are into live audio.

I already authored DVD version(divided to VH and DLR solo) and still have the sources on my PC. so it’s easy to make a Blu-ray version.
I don’t think there would be big difference between those DVD’s and Blu-ray but if you believe the Blu-ray has some advantage and have some rare stuff I want, I will make it for you.
show me your list.

There is absolutely no point in producing a Blu-ray from SD video content that originated on DVD. Now if we had access to the original film reels that the material was shot on, before it was transferred to video, then it could be scanned in hi-def and appropriate to put to a Blu-ray. But DVD-encoded assets authored to a Blu-ray, just for the sake of a higher video/audio bitrate, is pointless and bloatware. Might as well trade some mono bootleg audio cassettes in 24-bit 192kHz 7.1 surround while you’re at it…

The PCM soundtrack and ultra high bitrates afforded by Blu-Ray media are appealing.
I have a few 3 hour pro shot 1st gen VHS bootleg Blu-Rays of concert footage from the 90s that benefit from the increased storage capacity.

VHS on blu-ray! Lol. DVDs can have PCM audio up to 24/96, don’t need Blu-ray for that.

do i have to install it just to see your list? oh, that sucks. I won’t do that.

and yeah, Jason is right. it’s as pointless as copying the audio from CD to DAT.

You don’t have to install Where Is It Lite. It’s in a zip file as a stand alone application.
I’d be interested in your Napalm 2DVD set if the Blu-Ray is not in the cards.

Thank you!

can’t read it. dunno why. I don’t like to use my time for this thing any more. so I gave it up.

the new Napalm is not a 2 DVD set. they are two different products.
