Great clip ! Love how they ended the song, playing the main riff again.
A shame it didn’t made the setlist, that would have been awesome, especially since it was never played live.

As Ed said in soundcheck “if Dave decides to sing it ” AS IS.
Hope these upcoming shows they bust out some gems..

I agree. There is no way Pretty Woman would be in the set if Wolfgang picked the set list. Remember after the ’07/’08 tour, there was an interview with Ed saying that he and Wolfgang got pissed that they weren’t mixing it up more.

We still had some great surprises, like Hang ‘Em High or Bottoms Up!, but yes Dave prevents them for playing certain songs. That being said, I don’t think Drop Dead Legs is hard to sing. OK, As Is could be a pain for him, but, hell, he struggled every night with Chinatown, and they kept it on the setlist, even in Australia.

I know everyone has different ideas and they have to play the hits but please drop Pretty Woman, DTNA & URGM and bring in some rare gems like DDL, LUTS and House Of Pain…. :roll:

I have to agree about dropping “Pretty Woman” and YRGM. I also think they should dump “China Town”, since Dave ruins it almost every time. Would definitely LOVE to hear them add “Light Up the Sky” regularly as well. Yank YRGM for “I’m the One”, “Feel Your Love Tonight” or “Little Dreamer”.

Dave certainly has the final say on the setlist. Too bad he wasn’t more flexible. I can only guess, that Dave is playing to the majority of fans… by just playing the most well known songs. I noticed in 2012 at the D.C. show I attended, people sat down for songs like Hang’ Em High.

The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. Nobody rules these streets at night like Van Halen!!
