Eddie and Wolf are at the game. They looked like they were having a blast. Ed looks great, fit, tanned and in a leather jacket. It’s funny because they were just playing Eruption early in the third period.

Sure would be awesome to run into Ed at a hockey game.. or anywhere! Anyone here ever have that happen?

No, but I’ve run into both James Hetfield and Neil Young at Sharks games. Maybe if the Sharks and Kings meet in the playoffs this year Wolfie will make the trip north.

I got a fist bump from Hetfield, he was walking by on his way up the aisle. He and his family have seats on the glass in the same section where I have seats. He’s in row 1, I’m in row 8. I’ve only seen him there once though, but I’ve seen his wife and kids quite a bit.

I’ve seen Neil Young a few times with his disabled son, his son is in a wheelchair so they sit in a designated section. Sometimes Neil comes down to the bar/restaurant for lower level seat holders but I’ve never walked up to him. His music has left a big impression on me over the years, but even so I think I’d feel like kind of a d-bag walking up to him to chat, I think most of these guys appreciate being left alone. I could be wrong though, who knows how they actually feel.

That’s awesome that you have killer seats like that… well done! I know what you mean about leaving them alone.. but it must be awfully tempting to just say a quick thank you. I’d have to really police myself.

I’d be really careful … and if the situation seemed right … I’d go for it. Probably just make it a quick thanks and a handshake. I’d definitely not act like a silly fan boy saying things like, “You’re the greatest man!!”

Although if it was Al … and once again … if the situation seemed right … I’d actually tell him that the nickname (Silver Stallion) he sees at the end of a lot of the VH boot videos he’s received over the years is me.
