You guys are all fucking nuts. Billy is a great guitar player. One of the greats from the 90′s… you know, like how Ed is one of the greats from the 80′s.

Are you kidding? Whiny? – note the correct spelling. You obviously were alive in the early 90′s… I suppose you were more of a warrant or poison kind of guy, or better yet – fat halen, but here’s the truth – the pumpkins were one of the hardest rocking bands in the early 90′s. They (Billy) respect EVH and what the mighty VH stood for.
What would it sound like? There would be intense guitar solos and some very interesting chord changes…. Probably very strong drums and some nasty riffs…

I never said I didn’t like the Pumpkins – I thought the original band was good. Jimmy C. had his own sound as a drummer.

I just can’t envision Ed & Billy writing music together.
