Either:
a) Wait four more months for it to be released
or
b) Know somebody who can get you an early release copy (Martha Quinn?) ;)

c) Know the author who will have early copies.

When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor?

After moving the date to October 10th 2017, Amazon is now showing a publication date of October 2, 2018 !!

Anyone know how to get a hold of Paul Brannigan to see what the hold up is?

By 1978, rock’n'roll was dead in America. Led Zeppelin had played their final US concerts, Aerosmith were falling apart, Alice Cooper had checked himself into a sanitarium and Lynyrd Skynyrd had been ripped apart by a tragic plane crash. Disco ruled the airwaves, singer-songwriters dominated the live circuit and New Wave was being touted as music’s Next Big Thing. Until one man and his guitar changed everything…

Put simply, Eddie Van Halen is the most influential guitarist since Jimi Hendrix, his incendiary playing transforming a Pasadena covers band into one of the world’s best-known groups. Just as The Beach Boys soundtracked American adolescence in the 1960s, and The Eagles the ’70s, the 1980s belonged to Van Halen, with the Californian quartet delivering a string of multi-platinum albums which fuelled a new rock revolution.

Today Eddie Van Halen has a plaque on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame (located between Jimi Hendrix and Slash) and one of his iconic, homemade guitars is on display in the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC. And yet, despite his band racking up in excess of 80 million album sales worldwide the guitarist once described himself to writer Paul Brannigan as ‘the most insecure fuck you’ll ever meet in your life’. There is much the world does not yet know about the complicated, reclusive guitar hero.

Drawing upon first-hand interviews with Eddie and those closest to him, Eruption will reveal his full, extraordinary story for the first time, and his band’s pivotal role in shaping the future of American music.

Not true as far as I know. Anyone know if this is true?
