Has anyone talked to DJ recently? As I recall, we were in a holding pattern for a while and nothing ever came of his initial offer to share. Any news?

Much went into DJ’s musicals and videos, much more than he acclaimed. He has since passed from our world and will be missed by family and friends. Especially by me, he was the love of my life then and forever remembered as DJ lover of life. Living life to the fullest and beyond.

He had agreed to work with VHTrading on releasing a good copy of the ’79 Fresno show but it never quite happened and he stopped responding to emails. Then eventually he started selling copies of what he had.

The last email I received from him in January 2011 said:

I’ve been out of circulation for quite a while…There were many complications in my relocation…I like the idea of you using an HQ DVD dub to produce a final project much better than sending the VHS all over the place…I’ll get back to you on this VH project ASAP.
