Okay…let me clarify a little more: got the DELUXE EDITION with the t-shirt. I had the CD last week as well, but it was the one everyone was downloading in FLAC format.

hmmmmm I got the deluxe version from vhstore. Too bad vhstore did not throw in a t shirt.

I got mine from target this morning, they only charged me $9.99 for the deluxe version……can’t wait to crank that mother up.

Was gonna go for the T-shirt version @ WalMart, but like everything exclusive I try to buy there, they didn’t have it :eyeroll: Bought the deluxe at Target, and they accidentally price-matched the deluxe for the standard version price in Best Buy’s ad. Got the CD/DVD for about $9.49 after Red Card discount

Mine came in the mail yesterday from Van Halen Store. Also got my Mohegan Sun tix in the mail yesterday. A very good day.

Bought the cd only

My Walmart only had the CD too, no deluxe or T-shirt versions. And it wasn’t “sold out” because the lady was stocking the shelves while I was there.

I visited my local WalMart super center today around 11:45am (almost 12 hours after the midnight release), and found the new VH out on the New Releases shelf, but nothing in the normal VH slot besides a couple of older titles (BoBW, 5150, etc…)

They had 5 copies of the Deluxe CD, at least 20 copies of the standard release, and 6 copies of the T-Shirt edition, some Large, some XL.
I didn’t see any other advertising anywhere.

The check-out person in the electronics dept had never heard of Van Halen before, but was more than happy to price match the Best Buy ad that I had brought along.

I have “inspected” the DVD and didn’t find any additional material on it beside what we knew was going to be there (ie, a lot of empty space leftover). Anyone else find anything?

Nope, nothing but an FBI warning and Interscope logo. At least the audio track is PCM/uncompressed! Have been toying with the idea of authoring a more deluxe deluxe DVD that includes all the official web videos and a cooler-looking menu. Will probably hold off for a while to see if more stuff trickles out first.

Didn’t find anything but I was surprised they didn’t use the space on the back side of the back cover of the cd case. With the deluxe version when you open up to the second disc it just a black background. Would have been cool if a VH logo was there.
On the lyric sheet it looked like there were graphics from match books layed out flat. I wondered if it was from a match book that Dave wrote lyrics inside of or from a bar/club that inspired some lyrics.
