My copy arrived today…

The above photo of Franky is spread over 2 pages.

The next 2 pages are of the same guitar but just the front and back and a bunch of Japanese text and that’s it… Its just a 4 page ad for the Fender Franky…

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY… as Dutchie said it’s just the stupid Franky copy that we have seen for 15 years!! ZERO pics of Ed or VH this mag is good for nothing more
thank the cover!! Could have just printed the pic of the cover out and framed it and saved 60 bucks.

What a waste of 58 bucks!!! GRRRRRRR

Having now looked thru the mag, I’m wondering whether to keep it whole, or cut off the cover, and cut out the couple of pages that have VH content. Seems overkill to keep a 185 page mag with only 4 pages of content I want to keep. But saving the magazine whole might have more value?

yeah this mag was a total waste of 60 bucks for me. I collect all the Jap mags (Burn, YG, Player and others) with VH in them and this one is the biggest waste lol… the pic in this thread of the cover I should have printed, framed and saved my money hahaha..

I have a few YG mags with Ed on the cover and thats it, so not the first time this has happened…

Its a cool cover though… Not sure that I have ever noticed a jack plate where the strap button should be on the Franky before…

haha yeah for sure…. yeah that was a short lived plate Ed put on there in 79 into 80. If you look at close pics of the Franky (ones at the met are the best) you can still see the 4 screw holes from that plate :)

Guess the mag was good for something right lol
