Damn it! I was just at B&N Tuesday and they didn’t have this. Did it just come out this week?

I found one at the local grocery story today, pretty thick mag, worth it for the collection..

It was scheduled for an April release. Will check over the weekend & look for the May ESQUIRE as well.

I stopped at a B&N this afternoon. This mag was not on the shelves, and they had the Apr. Esquire still there, no May yet.

Jesus I’m only 34 I feel old 12 dollars for a magazine now is there lots of new interviews and photos or is it just all there old interviews from all the stuff we have already read in the 80s and 90s.I quit buying magazines cause the net.I remember I really use to love guitar world my favorite USA magazine next to Rip.But I always prefered the UK stuff like Metal Hammer,Kerrang and Raw more legit and up to date.Use to spend hours in the store reading stuff and at home stuff I bought.Those were the days.

Ha ha, I hear ya, I’m the same way. I used to buy/collect tons of magazines, and the import mags were always better. I haven’t bought a magazine in forever. You’re right, everything is on the web now. Even if there’s some exclusive print thing that’s not online, I don’t feel compelled to keep it after I’ve read it, like I used to do.

I wonder if this will have a thicker paper or cardboard cover with thicker, better quality pages,

kind of like a sports yearbook would have. I’ve seen a few Beatles mags like this.

Man,I remember getting Kerrang back during high school In the 80′s at the local Import records store.Along with my Iron Maiden picture discs!

I remember buying the very first edition of Kerrang back in 1981! Wish I still had it, but like a twat I cut all the posters out of it and stuck them on my wall….doh it would be worth good money now if I’d have left it intact!

Over here in the UK we used to have to hunt hi and low for import copies of American guitar mags like Guitar Player and Guitar World. I used to have to travel 20 miles into Birmingham most of the time, but quite often if Eddie was featured what few copies made it over here got snapped up pretty quickly!

Kerrang was the best! I would always buy a copy which seemed like every month because the pictures & posters would be put on my school folder or wall.

I hope I can find this Guitar World somewhere but we only have 3 B&N stores in a 50 miles from my place and the closest one didn’t have it but my 5 yr old daughter scored when she went with me because she got a couple of kids books she wanted.
