Many people have claimed this is successful. I’m going to give it a shot with my Sony HX9V.

Hope it works , I used something similar on a Canon and it worked just as it says

I have to find the USB cable that goes with the camera; it’s something that I have never used and probably tossed in a box or a drawer somewhere back when I bought it. At least I hope that’s what I did.
