California’s favorite backyard party band has something worth celebrating this year; Feb. 10 marks the 40th anniversary of their self-titled debut album, which changed the course of hard rock forever. Van Halen’s current bassist, Wolfgang Van Halen, is focused on his first solo effort, which could conceivably leave the door open for original member Michael Anthony to return. If that did happen it would, hands down, be one of the biggest concert tours of the year.
