id='q-56742'>
I wanted to ask for some advice and find out exactly how you all organize your collection lists and such. My live concert collection is becoming large. Well, large to me. haha Im assuming compared to some of you it’s small. But for me it needs to TLC. My concert audio for Led Zeppelin and U2 alone is starting to burst at the seams. It’s time to get organized! So I need some advice please. I’d like to create a list (I’m thinking Word to keep it simple) of every show just for easy reference. Having to digitally filter through the audio files when looking for things can be time consuming. Having a database I can search seems like a good idea to me.

I was wondering how exactly you all maintained your list of shows? Do you keep a list in a Word Document? Or a chart of somekind? What kind of info do you suggest I keep up with?

I have mostly mp3, but I am moving this year to FLAC files, and trying to be all Lossless by the end of the year.

Just wondered how exactly you all arranged, listed, and organized your concerts. Hope you don’t mind sharing.

Thank you!

-Chuck <img

Somehow when I formatted the list into Excel, it didn’t save properly and was off kilter and the entire list populated wrong. I decided that going back to correct nearly 200 Zeppelin shows, much less everything else wasn’t worth it. So, what I have so far is the date and location. On the shows I have gotten starting this month, I have included “FLAC” at the end, since I am trying to move to Lossless by the end of the year.

This is a time consuming project! ha<br
