I formatted a few weeks ago and I’ve installed dropbox again. I’m using the basic account and it keeps saying my dropbox is full. How to I save the files to my HDD directly using dropbox. I really can’t remember how I used to do it. I prefer to use dropbox to download as it can resume which is handy with large files.

I am unsure about transferring directly to a HDD, but even though it says your dropbox is full you can still download files and then transfer them to your computer.

I only have 2.5GB space available in dropbox. It won’t let me download but keeps wanting me to purchase.

I also only have a 2.5GB dropbox. Most of the time it is empty, but when I transfer a DVD to my account I get a message saying my dropbox is full, but it will still download. I open the dropbox folder on my computer and when it has completed downloading I simply move the DVD to my computer.

I have transferred Blu-ray files into a free account, and downloaded them.

Of course, Dropbox says my account is full and I should upgrade, but it will still allow you to download huge files.
