I finally got some DVD9 discs & was going to burn a dvd9 file.

The following appears:

W 20:30:09 Drive D:\ (FAT32) does not support single files > 4 GB in size.

Can I still burn the disc? Not sure what to do next without wasting a disc.

What is your “D” drive? The DVD burner? You shouldn’t be getting a FAT32 error for a blank DVD. I’m guessing that “D” is your hard drive, and it’s older and formatted FAT32 (instead of NTFS?)

It’s the HP Recovery Drive.

OK, so the first thing would be to choose

Create Image File from Files/ Folders ?

I tried this & got this message:

Unable to find any cells that could be used for the layer break !

Anyone ???

What exactly (in as many words as possible), are you trying to do?

What does this mean? Do you have a DVD9 disc that you are trying to copy? Do you have DVD9 files that you are trying to burn? Both cases?

In the case of your FAT32 error, it sounds like you have a DVD and are trying to make a copy of it by creating an image file from the disc. The problem is that the file is going to be larger than 4GB, thus the error. You should have a drive that’s NTFS formatted to avoid that limitation.
However, ImgBurn should be avoiding the problem by splitting the files. Check your file settings for flie splitting. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=6232&#entry65049

Thanks Ron for the link. I have the VOB files for several shows & would like to make DL DVD’s of them.

I’m new to IMG Burn. It is very different than DVD Shrink.
