I’m looking for these 2 shows from Portland, Maine. I have searched high and low for them with no luck, any help would be appreciated.

Van Halen 10/08/91 Portland, ME ( The VH encyclopedia says it exists, but I can’t find anyone who has it)
David Lee Roth 03/29/88 Portland, ME (I know this exists because I taped it, I loaned the master out to be converted to CD and never got it back)

Since this forum is a lot more active now, I figured I’d bump this thread to see if anyone could help with these shows.

I was at that Roth show in ’88, so I would be interested in getting a copy of that, as well.

That sucks to not have a show you recorded. I feel your pain though. I sent 2 Metallica shows to get authored and synced with soundboard audio and never got my copies back. I’ve seen them on lists too but no one will trade and the guy that arranged all of this claims he lost his copies.

Definitely a lesson learned on my part, I’ll never loan a master out again. I do know that I traded this show out to Dave Berryman who used to be a member of this forum when it was still at the old site. He is only 1 of 2 people I traded it out to and the only one I remember. However, I can’t get in touch with Dave. The email address he has listed on his old site is out of date. I even sent him a letter by snail mail to the address I had on file back when we traded 10-12 years ago with no luck. I know its not the best sounding show but it MY show and I was there and I would love to have it back…so if anyone know’s Dave and has a current email address I would sure appreciate it.

Come to think of it, I loaned out one of my master VHS compilation tapes years ago and I never got it back. It had a couple European video clips in really nice quality that I don’t think I have on DVD. Hmmmm…
