Has anyone attempted or scored last minute tickets?
I remember the last time around, people siting next to me in VIP bought tickets right before the show at face value.

We got Row D which is less then ten rows from the stage(they have a small 6 row pit if front of the regular orchestra there) on Wolfies Side at Irvine but from stubhub for face because nothing dropped at the box office we tried for over two hours between 4:30 and 6:30 along with others.Once they opened the doors for VIP at 6:30 Pm we decided nothing was probably gonna happen. They only had Row S and P for the closest including singles.Luckily for us at Irvine parking is free and they had a stubhub place set up in a hotel and we were able to leave the venue pick up the tickets within 30 minutes.
But Irvine is a venue close to LA where the VH family and DLR have friends and family so that probably might of affected drops. But then again I got my wife and my buddy and myself pit tickets at the box office for Motley/Alice last year at Irvine and that show was just as packed as Van Halen.
When I got there VIP people arrived but there was less then 50 but that was for the sound check package. So maybe many people did the VIP without sound check.
I just checked yesterday where I live in Chula Vista and they are listing the tickets on stubhub way cheaper also then the LA area shows at least tell sellers who did not sell them in advance dropped the prices near or to face value when the show was about to start. But they day before and morning and afternoon of stubhub was still pretty pricey at least tell people were already in the parking lot and at the venue.

I’m all about a last minute ticket – especially if you’re going solo. I did that for some of the Florida shows in 2012. Got 8th row on Wolf’s side and 4th row on Eddie’s side. It’s worth it. Worst case you can find something in the parking lot.

Resident dickhead. I will hurt your delicate feelings.

Has anyone noticed plunging prices on Platinum Seats closer to show date?
