Hey there VH fans!

I became a fan of VH in 1984 but it was OU812 in 1988 that turned me into a fanatic.

In the early 90′s I collected many VH live cassettes but over the years as mediums changed I didnt keep up.

I am really interested in starting my live VH collection (again!) and am really hoping some fellow fans will help me get started. I am a fan of both eras and hope to get my hands on some great stuff!

While you were away from the hobby, the playing field shifted quite a bit (as it often does when dealing with technology).

B&Ps have largely become a thing of the past, as it’s so much easier to just upload a show to wetransfer or dropbox and PM or email the receiver the link – and the receiver downloads and burns the show (assuming he/she plans on burning it – as burning to disc is also quickly becoming a thing of the past for a lot of traders).

This isn’t to say that B&Ps have completely disappeared – there are still a few old school traders around that do them. I’m just pointing out that the way things are done nowadays by most of the people in the hobby have changed.

Is there a way to view links on here that are open? Or is it all done by vowing the threads dedicated to individual shows?

Most of the links aren’t posted in the open forum because that would lead to driveby downloaders, whom we want to avoid because a lot of these downloads have daily download limits – so we want to ensure that only members have access to them.
