A 31-year-old male was arrested Friday in the 3800 block of Lamar Avenue in relation to a Aug. 30 felony theft.

David Lee Roth of Paris was arrested a few minutes before 5 p.m., after he was identified as the person who had allegedly stolen a tool set from Sears over a month ago.

PARIS, TEXAS– Police say 31-year-old David Lee Roth, not to be confused with the former Van Halen front-man, was arrested in Paris over the weekend.

Police say Roth is accused of stealing a tool set from Sears and trespassing at Walmart.

He was arrested in the 3800 block of Lamar Avenue, and faces charges of felony theft and criminal trespass.

He is being held in the Lamar County Jail.
