Thanks to js1516 & others for the added video sources.
Thanks to MdrnDayWar & weedwacker for the audio sources.

Lineage: Ripped the original NYCBC DVDs using DVD Decrypter.
Put all into Vegas 9 where I removed any commercial material,
edited video where the original mix was rough & removed the
NYCBC animation between songs. Also synced both audio sources
together, EQ’ed & evened out the levels.
DVD Architech Pro 5 was used to author as a DVD-DL disc.

The torrent was just banned from Dime

I thought this might happen after I read the torrent description, because it clearly says BTB ripped video from a DVD using DVD Decrypter and then edited it in Vegas Video. That means video that had been encoded as mpeg was used in a DVD project and re-encoded as mpeg. Essentially, it adds a generation to the video.

I personally don’t see the problem with this if it’s done right.

But Dime (and a lot of other sites), do not allow it.

It is still downloading even though it is banned; currently at 69.7%. I just managed to start the torrent before it was pulled.

If you were connected, stay connected, all is still good (as far as I can tell). Biggest problem is you might not get any ratio credit for it.

Yeah it will still go if the original person seeds it all the way through and everyone else keeps seeding it even though it is banned, but new people can’t jump on.This is why I hate dime. They are so anal about everything. I much prefer jamtothis. But as anal as they are – Dime gets the most traffic and torrents uploaded out of the major torrent sites.

You just have to hope the original seeder doesn’t turn off his computer for some reason – or that in the middle of the night his computer decides to do some updates and reboots.
