In preparation for the forthcoming 1988 Giants Stadium Monsters of Rock 3-cam, here’s a nice quality MTV broadcast about the 1988 Monsters of Rock tour. It has five segments; one each for the five bands on that tour (Kingdom Come, Metallica, Dokken, Scorpions, and Van Halen). It is 52 minutes long and includes all the commercials – some of which are pretty corny – like a 900 number you can dial to listen to a phone call made by Elvis Presley four years after he died – just $2 for the first minute and then 35 cents for each additional minute after that).
