Meh. I want to like it, and I’ve bought all of their albums since Permanant Vacation, but Legendary Child just doesn’t do anything for me. I’ve heard it was an outtake from Get A Grip, and it was probably an outtake for a good reason back then. VH is the only band that can take a bunch of old outtake material, craft it into a kick-ass rock album and get away with it!

Decent song, even if they had to steal a Zep riff. Then again, Jimmy did the same thing, so what goes around comes around. It’s rockin’ at least, I’ll give them that. Better than Tattoo was for a 1st song from a new album.

Only one listen to the song, but first impression is not so great. The video is much better than Tattoo, but I think Tattoo is a better song.

Don’t think after multiple listens, my opinion will change, but who know?

The poor folks play for keeps down here…They’re the living dead. Nobody rules these streets at night like Van Halen!!

Song was ok – seemed a little lackluster, but the video was cool. I liked the narration at the beginning.

I was thinking of a Whitesnake riff ! :mrgreen: It’s OK & thank GOD it wasn’t some keyboard laced ballad. :-o

I thought it was mediocre as well. I’ve never been a big fan of Aerosmith, though. I liked their 70′s stuff and that’s about it. Seen ‘em live in 1985 (opened for the Scorpions)…good show.

I got this on amazon and after a few spins, I really like it. To me, the video just gets in the way of enjoying the song.
