Hello all,

Way off topic here but I need your help. My old computer crapped out on me so I got a new one. All my stuff was backed up so no major losses there, however, my iPhone was linked to my old iTunes account and now I cannot load or sync any music from my new computer onto my iPhone……I have spent the last couple of hours trying to figure it out with no luck….now I am bitter.

Does anyone know how to solve this issue or have a solution (software or otherwise) that can help me out……much appreciated. I am so frustrated right now!

Do you get an error message of some sort? Does your itunes even recognize your iphone is connected?

I assume there are no teenagers living at your house?

Someone here might be able to help you, but there are literally dozens of forums out there that specialize in this stuff. If you don’t get an answer here right away, I’d check out some iPhone forums.

Are you able to log-in to iTunes with your previous info? If so, can you restore your new phone with that back-up?

Are you trying to sync through the “cloud” or using a USB connection? Mac or PC? I had a similar problem with a new iPod on my PC. Strangely enough, after looking around online, the solution was to plug in to a different USB port. Presto!

Thanks for the input so far…….I can login and what not and my iPhone shows up but when I try to transfer music to my phone I get a message about deleting everything on my phone and resetting everything which I do not want. I have a PC laptop, using USB connection, I will also look at iPhone forms. Was hoping someone already went through this and had an easy solution or software suggestion to download.

Assuming the user can log-in to iTunes on the new desktop I think that’s the easiest way to start over if he cannot pull anything from the new desktop device onto the phone. Restore it and it should be like a new phone that you can set up however you like. Just make sure you don’t have 2 iTunes accounts..
