Hey i have contacted the guy a few weeks ago and it;s in the mail.the guy is from peru and record the whole show from t.v and even said that is sending a supposed V-H oakland 79 in. can;t wait to see what’s in this package.

Question though the version in circulation from OSKY/BTB isnt that 1 st gen from tv edit? There are so many versions out there that it is hard to track

i don’t know but as soon as i receive the dvds i will contact you and send you a copy and maybe you can figure it out cause beside’s burning dvds and a little authoring i don’t know nothing about it.

Rad, if you mean first gen as in straight from the tv when it was aired then it could have been?
The thing is with the South Am stuff it’s a case of getting the best video (when it was aired) copy then transfering that to disc which is what I was hoping the guy in Peru would do if he originally tape it from tv, then get a good colour corrected transfer to disc done.
The only thing with the tv edit version is one or at least two of the cams have bad horizontal lines how this happened I don’t know, I can’t see them airing it like that? There was a guy how claimed a friend of his had the original tv tapes for each cam that he got from his dad :-? all a little hard to believe, I did track him down to a guitar store in South Am where he teaches guitar, that came though the old Diamond Dave site days, but when pushed disappeared.
