I won’t be going all-out like I did on the last 2 tours.. Definitely catch the 2 Florida shows and see how I feel after that.

Resident dickhead. I will hurt your delicate feelings.

ModelCitizen: Having them open for Bon Jovi shows the UK doesn’t deserve VH.

… The Bon Jovi dates (they didnt open for them BTW, Thunder were 1st on the bill) in 95 were probably the best they could do as they had rarely played over here since the WACF dates in June 1980… to be exact 4 dates in total; Donnington in 1984 and 3 gigs in 1993 thats not a lot in 15 years! If they had bothered to do proper tours to support FW, DD,1984, 5150 and OU812 in the UK and Europe I’m sure we wouldn’t be having this conversation now.

sbnitro: No,I was planning on being out there for the mile high nationals,so I’m planning on getting out there early to catch the show now.i have always wanted to see a show at red rocks!

You won’t regret it. Bring a big trash bag for a make-shift rain poncho if it rains! …And shoes you won’t mind getting soaked with red mud! :D Buy your tickets early. Red Rocks “seats” just over 9000 people.

ron: Dug back to see what the contents of those packages were: http://www.vhtrading.com/topic/vipnation/page/2/#post-1038

That seems to be another one of those areas that not everyone can access.

sickman: I have to believe that is somewhat the bands decision. I have tix to see Godsmack at Mohegan Sun and the ticket price is the same all over the arena. I believe it is the same way for the Rob Zombie show too. Just wait to see the tickets that Ticketbastard holds back for it’s Premium Seat service. Those will be astronomical although probably nowhere near the VIP package prices.

Everyone has their hand in the pie and I wasn’t pointing the finger at any one person or group in particular. The money junkies get their claws into everything and jack the prices up. I’ll spend this money for VH, but not for many other bands. In fact I only went to see the Extreme show, because the floor seats were $60. Perfectly acceptable price in my opinion. It didn’t surprise me when TicketBastard ended up becoming their own scalpers and started charging “premiums” for the better seats. Just gouging people. Oh well. It is what it is. :)

If I’m right in saying Crown of Thorns were also on this bill? VH only played for 1 measly hour but Eddie was on fire! I was at the Wembley Show but overall it wasnt the ideal place to see them. Saying that Sheffield 93 wasn’t much better atmosphere wise! I think they will do one festival UK date 2016 and that’s it! Demands not there! Glasgow Hydro would be sweet but looks like another trip to Vegas may loom!!!

I think you are right mate, I’d forgotten they were on the bill too, probably cos we got to Sheffield too late and missed them. A festival is probably about the only chance we’ll get to see them I agree!

Will the Van Halen North American Tour survive to the Aug. 3 date at Blossom? (poll)
By Chuck Yarborough, The Plain Dealer
on March 25, 2015 at 12:40 PM, updated March 25, 2015 at 1:44 PM

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Judging from reader comments, it seems few expect the Van Halen North American tour, which is set to kick off in Washington state on July 5 and end in California on Oct. 2, to be completed.

That’s not surprising, since the acrimony between guitarist Eddie Van Halen and lead singer David Lee Roth is well documented.

So we thought we’d put it to vote with today’s poll. All in good fun, of course.

Pick a date when the Van Halen North American Tour will fall apart

-Before it opens on July 5
-Between July 6 and July 30
-Between Aug. 1 and Aug. 31
-Between Sept. 2 and Sept. 30
-Right after the last scheduled show on Oct. 2
