The classic rock show also featured a rock band playing along with the marching band during halftime. Associate director Chris Hoch choreographed the show, which was developed from a student’s recommendation. Steve Pfaffman, a former band member from the 1970s, arranged the music, which included Jump by Van Halen, Rock You Like a Hurricane by the Scorpions, Jumpin’ Jack Flash by the Rolling Stones, Frankenstein by the Edgar Winter Group, Pinball Wizard by the Who and Rock and Roll All Night by Kiss.
