I recently re-mastered this show. It is taken from the original cassette tapes played on the original machine that recorded the show directly to DAT then to WAV files. Scotch master II cassettes recorded on a JVC Super ANRS Recorder with EV PL-76 Mics. Oklahoma City Fairgrounds Oklahoma City, OK.. One of Glenn’s best.
Talk about being “On Fire” they were on this day for sure. Amazing how clear this is after 36 years. Sounds as good as it ever did, here is a link:

You cant get any closer to the source, and using the original recorder made a big difference..since the tape is encoded with Super ANRS and not dolby B
if you listen close you can hear some okie telling his buddy he fell down..among other chatter..very clear..unedited,no fade-ins or outs

Thanks!! Love the way Rudy introduced them back then.

Many cool pics from this show and others from Oklahoma by great rock photographer Richard Galbraith on his FB page. Most probably already know but I’ll post the link anyways.

eruption1962,

you may want to add “m4a” format to the artwork

so fans won’t think that it is in the FLAC format.

When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor?

Hey Rob,

The remaster is excellent. What is Super ANRS ?

Also, how many times has the original recording deck been serviced over the years ?
