last year was a real tough year for me personally…. lost my cat, my dog, my job and almost my marriage for the 2nd time. Sort of coming back on my feet now although if I could get off the damn night shift that would help me out a lot. The one good thing about last year was the new VH record and seeing them live again with my Son for the first time in Boston. As glad as I am last year is over as it was a long one, man that album kicked total ass and was a huge help to me with getting through the year. Now one year later, I love the album even more than last year and cant wait to see what VH is bringing to the table this year.

Hey Rob good to hear things are looking better this year bud.
VH music has helped me through some rough times and music in general.

Still think they may pull a few suprises in 2013 and hope we hear a bit more of ADKOT live..

Also cant wait for the day I can take one of my kids to a show..My 3 year old boy hears Poundcake with the drill and he goes bananas singing into power cord with his battery mini guitar around his neck.

after a year listening to the album now. i think its a bit of a hit and miss. some good and some not so good.
i hope this year is alot better. cause i can,t be bothered with the whole van halen circus anymore. i just wish they would do a whole world tour. and not just the us and canada witch they have done for the last 30 years.

thanks bro. It was awesome bringing Connor (my Son) to his first show. He was blown away and it was a great time…. not that I mind people smoking weed but being his first show I was hoping that he would not have to sit right next to someone toking up real good as he did not enjoy that but thats the name of the game at a Rock show. Guess he needed to get broken in the good ole fashioned R&R way…. oh well thats the way it goes.
I hope the guys kick it in the ass again and hit the road again and follow up with another album.

I think that was just bad luck because I can’t remember the last time I saw someone doing that at a concert. Now that you can’t smoke cigarettes inside anymore, any sign of smoke and security is usually right there to nab you. And unlike the old days when they would just tell you to stop smoking dope – if you get caught these days, you’re probably going to get busted by the police and have to deal with fines, etc.

It’s amazing isnt it. Just a few short years ago Wolfgang couldn’t even play Jump on bass… Now look at him… ;)
