Correct Ron just checked the VH Encyclopedia.The albums art director Sttien Schyberg is standing near Al’s drum room in the photo.
Another intresting bit is “The band presented aproximately 20 songs to Dave to write lyrics to,of which two were chosen.”
Wonder if any of those songs made it to VH3 or ADKOT…?

Hi Jason, According to Wikipedia the Pee-Wee movie premiered on August 9, 1985, so I don’t think the photo could be from then. Maybe the MTV video music awards?

This is a scan of the colour proof I got from the printer here in the UK. It’s got a screen dot in it so it doesn’t res up too far, it’s also had a lot of contrasting added in photoshop my guess is the original is much clearer tonally.

Totally agree. Rolling Stone printed a candid picture of Paul at the grocery store a few years back and he looked just like one of those Mob Wives, or whatever that TV show is called. I’ll try and find the picture – it’s hilarious.
