Shameless self-promotion: check out my photos of Red Hot Chili Peppers show in Grand Rapids Saturday night. This was the first time I’ve been able to get a DSLR camera into a concert. Nice quality pics.
Just a side observation, I wonder why they have the big floor monitors when they’re all wearing in-ear monitoring systems. The trend these days seem be be going for a cleaner looking stage. Does the guitar player use them for “controlled feedback” a lot in a live show?

Interesting observation on the monitors, I’m not sure why. I’ve also seen other bands with similar setups – IEMs with floor monitors all over the place.
