I didn’t realize who this was at first … I googled the name and there is a well known poker player named Jason DeWitt and I thought Vince was a poker fan. But now I know, it was “Blu” from Indiana. I just edited the thread title to reflect that.

I sent Blu a stack of DVDs back in 2003 to get him going with DVDs. He didn’t have a DVD burner and was only trading audio, but wanted to get started with DVDs, so I sent him a bunch of his favorite bands on DVD.

He seemed like an all around great guy.

RIP Blu.

Jason gave me some info for VHBoots.com a long time back, and I had him in a tree I organized, also a long time back. The name is familiar from all the years at VHT and holds a lot of respect. R.I.P.

I saw this on facebook. Sad to hear that a VHT brother has passed away. I traded with Jason a few times. My impression of him was that he was a good guy. The world will miss him. Thoughts and prayers to his loved ones.

He was a moderator here back in the day. I know he went back to get a college degree several years ago and said he couldn’t spend much time at the site because of that. I remember he also said all the anti-Sammy sentiment really turned him off.
