Hey Guys,

I’m seeing The Winery Dogs in a week and want to film the show, but I hear Ritche Kotchen is anti taping and has “His Crew,” from what I hear roaming around for tapers. Is that true. Any feedback on this would be great. Thanks guys.

I vaguely recall his wife is the anti-taper – I think Ritchie just concerns himself with performing. I can’t imagine he has much of a crew … other than one guy who is his guitar tech/roadie. I’m pretty sure if the band wants to stop taping, they would have to rely on the venue security, and these days, most small venues only have a couple of guys doing security and they are mostly focused on people acting stupid (getting drunk and causing trouble), and don’t give a crap about point-and-shoot cameras.

There are TONS of Winery Dogs videos on YouTube. PLEASE SHOOT IT!! They have been avoiding Michigan like the plague! These guys are the best thing to come up the pike in years!!

My buddy wasn’t going to lend me the camera cause of Richie on the anti tape list or whatever that list is. Through an acquaintance, I found out he is cool with filming. Just so photos or video at soundcheck.
