“Van Halen to be confirmed playing at Download Festival and Sweden Rock. Seems to be their only European shows this summer.”

From Zegut, a well-known French radio host. Can’t tell how reliable this might be, though.

i wish they would realize that a world tour means a world tour
not just america and canada for years they have done this.
i just get the hump cause i live in scotland and ive never seen them live.
i just wish they would do a real world tour and play every where. :mrgreen:

You saw that “2013 World Tour” shirt they sold at the WI and CA shows this summer right? Only had those two dates on it. Kinda sad. So, judging from that … a “world tour” means one show in California, and one show in Wisconsin. Woot!

but the thing is they came back to scotland in 1980 for the world invasion tour.
and they played the glasgow apollo. cause a few of my older mates were there.

I don’t know much about the story, but I think the 1980 Glasgow show at the Apollo was when the ban was started.
