Tune in exclusively this Sunday at 8:00pm EDT (5pm PDT) to catch the 2013 Birthday Bash on AXS TV Concerts! Get warmed up for this show by watching a re-broadcast of the powerful Ronnie Montrose Tribute Concert at 6:05pm EDT (3:05pm PDT). It’s all part of an evening of live Classic Rock concerts!

Wasn’t very impressed overall. Not a lot of “friends” nothing too exciting. But for what it was, it was good. I’ll have to watch it again.

This is a pretty good show, just watching it from my DVR now. If I knew how to move it to DVD I would, and I’d offer it up to everybody.

Anyway, the song Personal Jesus is pretty good by Sammy and his band. Even though I like Dave better with VH, Sammy has always seemed like a good guy who just wants to party and live life to the max, I don’t really understand the hatred towards him. The dude has lived a life that most, if not all, of us would trade places with and he seems like he’d be an unbelievably fun guy to hang with. Positive attitude, etc. I read his book and I think he’s probably accurate about how Eddie has been a drunk derelict at times, but who gives a fuck as long as it’s true.

Like I said, I like DLR with VH better but Sammy is not a problem with me.

Is it really necessary to turn a thread about a recently aired concert into another (of the many) “Sammy vs VH” … or “Sammy said Ed is a drunk SOB” … or “Sammy vs Dave” threads?

I understand that this is all part of VH’s history and it’s bound to be brought up here from time to time – but please keep it in threads that specifically focus on the negative stuff.
