You are bidding on two (2) live Master Tapes from the rock legend Sammy Hagar. These tapes were recorded on May 2, 1982. One tape and tape box measures 15″ by 15″ and the other tape and tape box measures 11″ by 11″. Both boxes have the same notations on them. They read as follows: “Sammy Hagar 1″ Layback Mstr. Reel #1 5/2/82 +5….1,2: Crowd….3,4 Stereo PGM….5,6 Stereo PGM….7 Mono Reference….8 T.C…..15 IPS Tails. The tapes and boxes are extremely heavy. The items appear to be in fine shape. These master tapes were acquired from legendary manager and record producer, Herbie Herbert, and are original and authentic. Extremely rare and very cool items!

This guy has been trying to sell these tapes for at least 4 years!!!! Price is way out of line for Hagar stuff.

The biggest problem is finding someone with the equipment to deal with 30 year old reel-to-reel tapes.
